    Blood-Thirsty Media

The World media’s insensitivity for not reporting with due importance the historic peace deal between the Nepal Government and the Maoists insurgents under the UN supervision is deplorable. The media’s obsession with violence and deaths shows the pathological mindset of those running and consuming it. While numerous episodes of sensational programs and news-items of the bloody conflict have been covered by all the major news channels and publications, why don’t they let the whole world know when a monumental socio-political velvet revolution of historic importance is taking place through peaceful negotiations in a much experimented country like Nepal?
C’mon the peace-loving people of the 21st century World Community, this country needs attention, adulations, and coercion more than ever before to fulfill what it’s commited to itself !!

    Divas,

What you say is true but probably the world community is waiting till the peace is actually implemented and democracy restored. Ceremonious or not if monarchy comes back then we will see Nepal back to where it started. The war has ended but peace is not attained yet. The violence has ended but wounds are yet to be healed. The king and the subjects (the monarch and the opressed) still exists, lets have total peace and freedom.

    WHAT I HEARD ON RADIO
Featuring peace process or attending peace process meeting is not only public expectation. Public would like to hear admitting their mistake in past and pledging with public to improve their attitude for the future.

Last week I heard the interview from masked intelligent and proclaimed geek Dr. S M Dixit,( who is still leading civil society meeting)who supposed to be ‘independent in thought’. While I heard his interview my mind was reeling with anger. I respect his expression.I respect his profession as a physician. Except this he is total Maoist geek. He claimed himself as a intellectual, that intellectual who incites or glorifies murder, maiming or physical destruction. If we look through history background, he was the classed malafied doctor ,who was poisioning opposition against second elected government for the whole term.

Civil society must assume lawful society. They can not work as an agent for wrong doer. Its not their duty to white wash all the crime from their faithful political party.

We must look back the decade, all the political party treated as sworn enemy by Maoist or King. After 12 point agreement with seven party, these types of intellectual are trying to simplfy all the homicide on the name of peace procession.

In county side we can not feel de-facto reign by government and opposite there is fear of reprisal still exists on public eyes. In this situation S M Dixit says ‘Maoist are truely representing public views’. If this is correct? I wold like to challange his statement of account and would like to ask Dixit to go to village and speak against them for trial. He will get real answer within a day. I am sure. Living in Kathmandu and making sit-in protest infront of Baluwatar is not courage for obtaining liberty. Those are the brave people, who are making true voice for public where anrchy makes reign.

Dark shadow still following peace process. Appointment of ambassdor and after Maoist reaction method shows the sign that days are not easier. So I would like to pledge to seven party key decision making body to make strong position and stick their nation’s beneficial decision and keep sense of judement at any cost for Motherland sake. Because we need storng governmentand leadership. We need those leadership who can defy hypocratic politics and run country toward better future.
